Totham Pit work party weekend

We will be closing Totham Pit on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May to carry out a two day work party clearing brush, stacking cut timber and improving swims.

This is open to all members and we would very much appreciate any help you can give, even if it’s only one day.

Anyone helping out both days that wishes to fish the Saturday night this is fine, even if you don’t hold a night ticket. We’ll be lighting a bbq Saturday evening so bring a beer and a burger to chuck on and join us for a bit of a social.

Many thanks -  The Totham Pit Team.

Beckingham Hall update

I can now give an update on Beckingham Hall but unfortunately it is not good news.  The reason we had to close the lake was because it was put up for sale and the landowner wanted to sell the lake without sitting tenants.   This week it was confirmed that the new owner has decided not to lease Beckingham Hall back to us as he has a relative that is into fishing and is going to run it as a six man syndicate.

We owned all of the fish in Beckingham Hall and were able to remove a number of fish when our lease was terminated.  137 carp were removed and 102 went into Totham Pit, 18 into Slough House West and 17 into Slough House Farm along with 25lb+ of silvers to Slough House West.

Totham Pit work party & siltex application on Sunday 29th October

Brilliant effort by everybody today at the work party, well done to Deano & his team for putting this all together with a great work plan for the pit initially and a great work party today to get the ball rolling, the head count was 23 which made it possible to make relatively short work of the jobs at the top of Deans list of works to be carried out, as well as 4 tonnes of siltex being introduced today making it a very productive day indeed, many thanks to everyone that got involved, Happy Angling! long live the pit - Jamie

Autumn reminder

Members are reminded that Rook Hall and Whitehouse Farm reservoir are now closed for the 4 month duck shooting season and will re-open on Thursday 1st Feb 2018.  There are also occasional duck shoots at Slough House West and Little London so please keep an eye out for signs at the entrance to these fisheries, especially on Fridays.

Night fishing at Bog Grove has now started and runs through until the 30th April 2018.

3 rods are now allowed on all venues for all standard night permit and Howells night permit holders as well as for members who have purchased the £30 winter 3 rod upgrade.  Regardless of which night permit you have you can use 3 rods on all venues including Howells.

The sun sets on another summer’s fishing at Rook Hall.

Howells work party on Sun 15th Oct
