Attempt at fly tipping at Beckingham Hall

It has been reported that a white flatbed van attempted to fly tip a load of turf and other waste outside the entrance gate at Beckingham Hall on Sat 4th June at 2.30pm.  Members are asked to be on the look out for vehicles acting suspiciously around our fisheries, in this instance it stopped in the road and then reversed into the entrance by the gate, waiting there for a couple of minutes before a person jumped out, looked around and gave a nod to the driver. The van’s flatbed then started rising to tip the load of turf and other waste but at this point they noticed that one of our members had spotted them from the lake and made off.  If you see anything similar, and can make a note of the vehicle’s registration number, please let someone on the committee know and you can also report the incident at  Thank you.
