Welcome to the Maldon Angling Society (MAS) Website
Maldon Angling Society was established in 1895 and currently has 15 stillwaters and 15 miles of river and canal. Its location in mid Essex means most Society waters are within easy reach of the A12 just 30 minutes from junction 28 of the M25.
The Society has continued to provide a range of venues, various stillwaters and several miles of river and canal, catering for both the specimen hunter, matchman and pleasure angler alike. Easy access and ample car parking are a feature of all our major stillwaters. Night fishing is permitted on a number of our ’speciman’ waters. We also hold regular matches for those who enjoy competing against each other as well as trying to outwit the fish!
