All other night fishing venues are 4 days / 3 nights followed by a 24 hour break from that fishery.

Members under the age of 16 cannot buy a night permit. These must be purchased on their behalf by a current adult night permit holder. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult night permit member while fishing between the hours of 10pm and 5am and fish in the same swim as this adult between these times.

Guest tickets: are available to non-members wishing to accompany a member to any fisheries. Members may only take one guest per session at a cost of £8 per day or £5 if the guest is under 16 years or age or qualifies for a concessionary membership of the Society. Guest tickets must be purchased in advance of fishing and do not give the guest permission to night fish.

Day tickets: are available on the Chelmer & Blackwater Canal only. Prices on the bank are £6 for adults, £4.50 for concessions and £2 for juniors. Day tickets purchased in advance of fishing are priced £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £2 for juniors.  Day tickets are also available on the Railway Pond in Heybridge at the cheaper prices (available from JP Tackle in Maldon High Street only).  All of our other stillwaters are strictly members only – no day tickets allowed.

Day ticket anglers and guests may claim up to £8 discount on membership fees if they subsequently decide to join the society and the ticket is submitted with their application form.

If you need any further information on how to join please call our membership secretary on 01621 892152. Otherwise fill out and post the  membership form and you will receive your membership details within a few days.
