The actions of one has spoilt things for all

We greatly regret that the arrangement we have for parking in the secure area behind the Museum of Power in Langford is suspended. This is because the Water Company have locked the gates following an incident where an angler drove through the secure area and continued across the meadow, then to park next to the canal. We are currently trying to persuade the Water Company that not all our members display the same moronic lack of sense, and that access can be resumed on a restricted basis.

Totham Pit Disabled Swims

The two disabled swims at Totham pit have cleared of any obstructions giving the angler plenty of space
in the swim, access to them from the car park has been leveled making it very easy to get from a vehicle
into the swims.

Totham Pit Path

Further work has been done around Totham Pit to complete the path around the lake, all the way along the car park bank is now done, the slope going down onto the wooded island has been extended slightly as anglers were finding it too steep when pushing a barrow or carrying their tackle ,the paths down on the lower level at the pit will have more maintenance work done in the coming weeks.
