Brian Webber’s mixed bag

This was my second place concessionary match bag from Slough House Farm beaten by an excellent 21lb carp by Jack Morley.

Brian’s bag – just pipped to top spot by a carp.

Little London swims get face lift

Just a quick update on the swims over at Little London.  Myself and Michael have been over there the last two evenings continuing the work on the swims, the path and swims have been strimmed all the way round and the swims that we were working on regarding the water levels were both raised up and have now both been grass seeded and finished off with a good layer of top soil on each.  The forecast rain should help to bed them down tonight.  All the best – Jamie.

Totham Pit will be closed this Sunday 22nd May to non-competitors in the Tom Martin Memorial match from 6.30am.  This match at Totham Pit has attracted sponsorship this year and a host of prizes will be on offer to competitors.  The match will be a ‘committee and ex-committee’ team versus a ‘bailiffs ands friends’ team event.  To book your place please contact Russ Samuels on the number listed in the rulebook.  The match is open to all members and the draw for swims is at 8.30am.

A big thank you from Paul Kemp

Paul Kemp would like to thank the ten willing volunteers who helped at the Totham Pit working party on Sunday 17th April as a large amount of fishery improvement works were completed on the day including a new bridge over the outflow making it easier to get round onto the wooded bank with trollies etc.

Howells gate latest

The gate at Howells now has a metal stop post to hold the gate open as you drive through.  A large blackthorn tree has also been removed (with the owner’s permission) that was blocking the camera being able to give him a clear view of our gate on the video screen.

Please take note – CCTV now has a clear view of the gate.
